Dr. Destinee Prete , CEO of PG Strategies Group, has her PhD in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology with a concentration in Psychological Coaching. She is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist/Practitioner, Psychometrician and Senior Strategist. Dr. Prete is a certified Credentialing Specialist through I.C.E. (Institute of Credentialing Excellence). She understands the eco-system of certification from a program's conception, through its development and delivery, to maintenance and improvement. She currently works on several contracts with a company (Global Skills X-Change) and is the Lead Psychometrician on several DoD and Intelligence-related contracts.
Dr. Prete is also the President/Co-Founder of We2AreVets 501c3, a nonprofit that focuses on the honor, recognition, and empowerment of women veterans. She is a Certified Veteran Developmental Coach (CVDC) and has thousands of logged hours of coaching and mentoring within the military and veteran communities. She has an extensive background in the research of the veteran workforce and has worked in several jobs within the transitioning service member community to include - a career counselor for the Army's transition program, a Site Lead for VA Benefits Advisors for the National Capital Region (DC/DMV), and as a member of the cadre and transition coordinator for the Army's Wounded Warrior Battalion. Additionally, she serves on several advisory boards for military & veteran connected nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Prete has several affiliations and is actively involved in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology field. She is the Incoming Chair for the Military and Veterans Inclusion Committee for SIOP (Society of I/O Psychology), a seat that she will be in for 3 years. She is an APA member and Division 19 (Military Division) member. She has also volunteered to serve on the I.C.E. military-connected task force. She is the founder of an active group called "Military-Connected I/O Psychology" on Linkedin and is also a current "I/O Pathfinder Expert" with SEBOC (Society of Evidence-Based Organizational Consulting). In the future, she will be establishing a group called WIPConnect ("Women in Psychology Connect).
Dr. Troy Glassman, COO, received his PhD in Business with a concentration in Organization and Management in 2008. He is a disabled, combat veteran with over 30 years of Army Military Service. His military service spanned active Army units from Battalion to Brigade level, Special Operations, Intelligence Organizations, Combined headquarters, inter-agency liaison and command. He was an Army Ranger serving with 1st Ranger Battalion, Ranger Instructor, Senior Medical NCO, Logistics Officer, and Professor of Military Science.
Once retired from the military, he transitioned into academia serving as Assistant Professor of Management; Academic Chair of Supply Chain Management, International Business, and Healthcare Management; and Research Associate of Instructional Systems. Hearing the “calling” of continuing to serve our country, Dr. Glassman left academia and joined the Department of State as the Director, Strategic Medical Preparedness and Director, Protection Medicine leading while developing the organization through contingency response and planning.
Dr. Glassman recently transitioned the National Defense University (NDU), College of International Security Affairs (CISA), as the Dean of Administration. He is also Director/Co-Founder of We2AreVets 501c3. He is a respected leader with career-long success earning the esteem of senior executives, peers, and team members for his ability to achieve unsurpassed results. Dr. Glassman has a reputation for cultivating relationships with key internal and external stakeholders driving execution of high-level goals and objectives and an exceptional ability to navigate complex organizational systems, forge strategic partnerships, and lead transformational initiatives.
